Authority

One of the things that we learned teat interested me reading Romans was the passage on authority. Most people are told that rules are there to protect them from harm, and this is Gods intention to keep us away from sin and destruction.Yet for some reason when we look at someone else's sinful actions we don;t look away or try to help them, but we are tempted to do the same and often stumble as well. If we were to see sin as disgusting as God sees it then even tough we would still sin because we re born into a sinful and imperfect world, we wouldn't want to have anything to with sin. We unfortunately see it as tempting not only do we sin but we want to sin and this angers God. By submitting to God and his orders and by having  belief that you can be saved through him allows the holy spirit to see sin as what it truly is and lessens the burden of temptation. My challenge is to follow God's commands and orders and turn to him when I am tempted to sin against him and I challenge you to do the same

Romans

What we know as Romans in the bible is a collection of letters written by to the believers in Rome.Instructing them how to become  followers of Christ, with lesson such as the sovereignty and holiness of God.It talks about how God cannot be in the presence of sin therefore we have been separated. That until we for forgiveness of the him we face punishment for our sins.Roman's Road which is one of the most important passages to learn and understand. To briefly summarize the passage ; All have sinned and fallen and can't remain in god's presence;the price for our disobedience is death as our sin must be punished;but the gift of eternal life is ours if we confess with our words that God is our lord and believe he raised Jesus form the Dead than we can be saved and return to God. The hardest lesson would probably be this, as most of religions at the time had certain rituals, sacrifices and live certain ways to go to an eternal paradise or become holy. I don;t know if Christianity was the first religion to introduce asking or forgiveness, but the idea was relatively new and most likely the most idea confusing idea at the time.

Death 0 Jesus 1

Death, is the end of life, and for some is the end period. However this is not the case.A long time ago Jesus who was an immortal came down to become a sacrifice to all sinners , for God cannot be in the presence of sin, and because of this man has become mortal and now faces death both in physical form, and condemnation in spiritual form. Jesus who had not sinned had came down in flesh and blood while remaining perfect. He had been crucified for the sins of men that we may once again be in community of the lord.then was resurrected hence defeated death itself. If you want to know more pick up a bible or another form of scripture.Until the second coming death is still the end of lie in a physical life, but if you believe than you shall not die spiritually. Other religions either focus on striving to fulfill a nearly perfect life, or in the case of atheism, death is the end, and while your body remains to decay, the person people come to have known would be gone , and would never return. Yet i find hope that my soul can be saved and that my spiritual body will never face death but to remain in community with God and a majority of those who are close to me.
